Job Summary Southwestern College Professional Studies seeks an Admissions & VA Coordinator to recruit and enroll undergraduate, graduate, and certificate learners into our Global online programs.

The right candidate will establish and maintain a highly effective communications process in order to build partnerships with Fort Riley Education Services Office, Fort Riley Garrison Command, community colleges, military and civilian personnel, and other institutions in the Fort Riley Education Community.

In addition, this position will serve as the School Certifying Official to certify enrollment, assist learners in completing their required VA/TA paperwork and processes and work in collaboration with financial aid and student accounts to ensure compliance with VA regulations.

The work will require a person who is a self-starter and can handle multiple priorities while keeping a focus on how to enroll and graduate military and civilian learners who come to SC Professional Studies via Fort Riley and area community colleges.

This is a full-time, 12-month salaried position with benefits, reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Outreach and Recruitment to include: * Recruit within an assigned territory and meet the established recruitment goals for online new students.

* Respond quickly and effectively via email, phone calls, text messages, and other communication methods to connect with prospective students.

* Develop relationships with prospective students while serving as a personal point of contact through the entire admissions process through enrollment of first session.

* Collaborate with Ft.

Riley Education Center to identify best practices in outreach to prospective students including Victory Welcome, base activities and any additional on-base and off-base assignments.

* Certify enrollment in accordance with Southwestern College and VA policies.

* Prior to enrollment certification, perform a cross-check of student billing information with tuition amount to be certified to ensure tuition/fee certification complies with VA regulations.

* Report enrollment changes within 30 days per VA guidelines.

* Utilize all recruitment technology devoted to organizing and holding student data for the purposes of interdepartmental communication and strategic recruitment.

* Display a professional attitude and presence in all aspects of the job.

Travel to include: * Work with the Director of Admission and the Vice President for Enrollment Management to determine travel plans for recruitment.

* Represent Southwestern College at military fairs, special events, and other external recruitment-based efforts as well as commencement on campus and on base.

Required Qualifications * Must have a four-year degree from an accredited college or university.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking.

* Have a positive attitude and willingness to serve.

* Possess and maintain a valid driver's license * Experience working in Web, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Social Media platforms, and be skilled in managing basic office tasks.
