Therapy Program Manager

Leadership and Operations

· Provide direct supervision and support to therapy team members including PTs, OTs, SLPs, and assistants.

· Oversee daily therapy operations including staffing, scheduling, and productivity management.

· Monitor clinical performance and outcomes to ensure excellence in therapy service delivery.

· Coordinate therapy care planning with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered outcomes.

· Serve as liaison between therapy services, nursing, administration, and external partners.

· Participate in census development efforts through effective therapy programming and marketing support.

· Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and facility regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid and PDPM guidelines.

· Support accurate and timely documentation, billing, and coding practices.

· Maintain proficiency in EMR systems and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.

· Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within the rehab department.

Education

· Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution

· Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist.

· Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or Physical Therapy Assistant may be considered.

Experience

· Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a long-term care or geriatric setting.
