Title: Allied Health Adjunct Instructor Pool Salary Range: $655.00 per credit hour Contract Term Length: Not Applicable Standard Hours: to be determined Work Location: Hybrid FLSA Status: Exempt College: Jefferson Community & Technical College Campus Location: Jefferson Community College Department: Allied Health Job Summary The Allied Health Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for an Adjunct Instructor.

Allied Health programs are EMT/Paramedics, Medical Billing & Coding, Medical Assisting, Medical Laboratory Technician, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Pharmacy Technology, Physical Therapy Assistant, Radiography, Respiratory Care, and Surgical Technology.

Job Duties: This position will be responsible for: * Part-time didactic and clinical instruction in the program * Academic advising for current and potential program students * Program course and curriculum development * Internal service to the college via committee participation and engagement as a faculty member * Continued growth as an instructor via professional development * Coordination and monitoring of student clinical placements at local healthcare facilities * Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records according to all JCTC and accreditation policies and regulations.

* Other duties as assigned by the program coordinator and Dean of Allied Health.

* This is a pool position, and you will not be contacted until a program need arises.

Minimum Qualifications: Degree and certification requirements dependent upon program.
