Opportunity: * Hospital-employed Neurosurgery opportunity with high volume and APP support * Level 2 Trauma Center * Call 1:4 / 90% outpatient - 10% inpatient * Case load Adult 90% / Peds 10% / 20-25 patients a day in clinic (Avg 5 new patients) * OR block time, with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated Neurosurgery OR team (2 days OR/3 days clinic) * Dedicated neuro-intensive care unit, stroke unit, and neurosurgical services on-site * Procedures: Spine (C,T,L) Surgeries (Fusion/Decompression) Kyphoplasty, SCS Implant, Craniectomy/Plasty, Shunt Placement * Potential -For teaching, academic appointment with Michigan State University Community: * Within 55 minutes of an International Airport * Low cost of living * County population 160,000 City of Jackson 31,347 * Jackson County has 16 Public School, 16 Private Parochial Schools, along with 3 Colleges (Jackson Community and Baker) / and Spring Arbor Universities * 250 Churches * 500 Holes of Golf (Which several are Nationally ranked) * 188 Lakes / 27 Public Parks * International Speedway, and a Jackson Symphony Orchestra Must be ABNS Board Certified in Neurosurgery -Open to new grads.
