Radiography / CT technologist - Claremont, NH
Shift: Day shift
Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Weekend and On-Call Requirements: As per departmental guidelines
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Prepare and screen patients for radiologic and CT imaging procedures.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients, adapting communication to their age and comprehension level.
Assess and manage patient discomfort or pain during procedures, notifying physicians when necessary.
Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining optimal image quality.
Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
Document all aspects of patient interaction and imaging accurately and promptly.
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts.
Education, Licensure, and Experience:
Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT (or willingness to train in CT).
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Required.
Active New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) License - Must be in hand.
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred (willing to train the CT portion for the right candidate).
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field preferred, but not required.
Compliance with all continuing education requirements.
