Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician (Operating Room)

Contract Details:

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: 13 weeks

Duration: Ongoing

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Shift: Night shift 8.5-hour shifts 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM 5 shifts per week

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment.

Will float between all Sterile Processing Department (SPD) locations as needed.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Sterile Processing Technician

Certification: CRCST or CSPDT required within 12 months of hire

Additional Information:

Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Required as per rotational schedule

On-Call: Not required

Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel up to 2 shifts per month with a minimum of 2 hours' notice and without financial obligation

Must be nicotine-free (nicotine testing may be required)

Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)
