Kalamazoo Valley is seeking an accounting/business tutor to support the Accounting 101 and 102 classes, as well as a variety of business classes.
This position provides tutoring to students in one-on-one and small group settings.
The work schedule may include daytime and/or evening hours.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must possess a 3.0 grade point average or better in the discipline and have excellent communication skills.
Candidates must have successfully completed Accounting I (ACC 101) and Accounting II (ACC 102). Candidates must have successfully completed Business courses (BUS 100, 101, 102,103, and/or 105). Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Business Courses (BUS 100, 101, 102,103, and 105 or beyond). Experience in Accounting III (ACC 103) and/or Accounting 109 or equivalent.
Physical Demands: Work Hours: 10 to 20 hours per week; flexible schedule, hours vary between days and evenings.
