Grand Canyon University's Janitorial Cleaning Services Department is seeking a part time repair tech.

The Repair tech is responsible for investigating problems with the janitorial machinery and making repairs accordingly.

Their duties include communicating with manager/and or operator to discuss the concerns, carrying out routine maintenance procedures and replacing parts to promote their functionality.

Part-time (up to 35 hours) - Make your own schedule!

What you will do: * Adhere to safety and security procedures and determines the appropriate action beyond guidelines and reports unsafe conditions to management.

* Other duties as assigned.

* Perform janitorial machine assessments and repairs.

* Complete vacuum, power washer, rider blower, side by side rotary scrubbing machines, carpet extractors, maintenance.

* Order parts, schedule service, and maintain inventory.

* Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.

* Ability to find a solution for issues/obstacles in completing work that aligns with best practice maintenance repair; ability to determine when issue needs to be elevated to management to resolve.

* Other duties as assigned.

What you will need: * High school diploma, or equivalent.

* Some trade school/training is preferred.

* Experience in repair/maintenance preferred.

* Must be able to pass pre-employment background investigation.

* Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
