The Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiography Technologist works closely with the cardiologist in the assessment and treatment of cardiac diseases in our Accredited Echo Lab which includes outpatients, off-campus sites & inpatients with hospital coverage on-call after hours, weekends and holidays. Diagnostic Ultrasound testing includes m-mode, 2D, 3D, spectral Doppler, color Doppler, tissue Doppler imaging, strain imaging, bubble studies, contrast-enhanced transthoracic echocardiograms, exercise & pharmacology stress echocardiograms, imaging for structural heart procedures, and assist the cardiologist with both 2D & 3D transesophageal echocardiograms.

Sonographers are scheduled regular hours during the day at all HVC sites (Robbinsdale, Maple Grove, Minnetonka, Blaine, Monticello and Buffalo). Team member must be willing to travel to all sites on occasion.
