Job Description

Tinkbird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurologist to join established practices in Edenton and Ahoskie, North Carolina.

The growing neuroscience program consists of neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, inpatient stroke neurologists, general neurologists, neurointensivists, and a large team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants in locations across eastern North Carolina.

Highlights include:

Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system

Opportunity available due to retirement

Emergency Departments entail Telestroke support

Established patient panel

Clinical responsibilities will include primary outpatient with some inpatient consults

No call

Support by an experienced Nurse Practitioner

Excellent longevity within the provider and support staff teams at both clinics

In office procedures will include Nerve Conduction Velocity, Electromyography, VNS Interrogation and Programming, Deep Brain Stimulation Interrogation and Programming, and Inspire Device Programming

Built-in referral network from primary care providers

System-wide EHR : EPIC

Close proximity to the North Carolina and Virginia Coast

Ability to live in Edenton, a historic waterfront community

Support from an established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists in nearby Greenville, NC.
