Ultrasound Technologist Student

Andalusia Health is currently seeking to fill a Student Ultrasound Tech position.

Essential duties

Utilizes Ultrasound techniques to obtain diagnostic images

Performs age specific ultrasound procedures utilizing the necessary independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in order to obtain diagnostic sonograms

Performs inpatient, outpatient, ER and surgical procedures as needed

Qualifications

Education required

High School Diploma/GED required

Minimum of one year didactical and clinical training from accredited Ultrasound School

Additional skills/abilities

Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
