Psychologist

LEARN, Southeastern Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center, invites candidates to apply for a full-time Specialized Learning and Behavior Specialist opening.

In this role, the specialist will serve as a district-wide evaluator across our magnet schools and outplacement programs.

Responsibilities include assessing students with complex profiles, creating comprehensive evaluation reports regarding assessment results, consulting with our dynamic team of educators and other related services professionals regarding supports and services for students, and ensuring parents understand their child's learning and behavior strengths and areas of need.

The qualified candidate will hold the 070 School Psychologist certification have at least three years of experience in administering and reporting out on the results of psychoeducational assessments, as well as a strong background conducting FBAs and consulting with teams to create effective BIPs.

This will be an 11-month position.
