Aircraft Maintenance Technician

POSITION SUMMARY: The Menard Inc.

Flight Department is looking for a certified A&P technician to join our team.

This individual will be providing maintenance, inspection and repair to Cessna Citations and Embraer Regional Jets while maintaining a high level of dedication to service, safety and quality.

Candidates should be resourceful and willing to learn, detail oriented, highly motivated, and take ownership of their work.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: * Conduct inspections, repairs and modifications to airframes, engines and avionics systems during routine and non-routine maintenance inspections * Identify and remedy defects noted during scheduled and non-scheduled inspections * Properly follow manufacturer maintenance manuals and FAA Part 125 Approved Inspection Program * Accurately complete and maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities through the use of aircraft logbooks and CAMP Systems International software * Document and maintain parts, tooling and equipment inventory * Inspect and repair components including but not limited to aircraft wheels and batteries * MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES: Will be required to perform other duties at the direction of Flight Department Management POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate * Meet the recency of experience requirements of 14 CFR § 65.83 * Strong interpersonal communication * Ability to work and problem solve independently as well as part of a team * Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally * Be capable of standing, bending, crouching and stretching for prolonged periods of time * Read and understand detailed schematics and wiring diagrams
