Qualifications Illinois paraprofessional certification required Must be fluent in Spanish Initiative to follow through with assigned tasks Effective interpersonal and communication skills Ability to perform small group instruction and one-on-one skills for behavior/academics Effective computer skills Salary/Benefits Beginning salary at $18.29 Additional Notes Job Summary: The Paraprofessional is responsible for assisting the teacher in a variety of instructional activities and performing a variety of instructional support tasks: preparing and completing materials, assisting students in instructional assignments and courses, and other educational instruction needs.

The work year for this position is 180 days.

Salary is in accordance with the Paraprofessional salary schedule.
