Responsible to provide counselling services to Northern Maine Medical Center children and adult clients.
Responsibilities: * Provide appropriate evidence-based psychotherapy with individuals, groups and families.
* Conduct psychosocial assessments and updates as needed.
* Conduct intakes and assist in coordinating placements in residential programs.
* Develop appropriate goal focused, person centered, treatment plans containing measurable goals and objectives; obtaining client and other stake holder (guardians, family members, payers etc.) input as appropriate * Provider group sessions as needed on the inpatient units.
* Maintain communication as needed with external treatment teams and professionals * Provide training on implementation of treatment plans as needed with other members of the treatment team * Document all meetings and calls with patients, family members, providers, etc.
* All notes to be completed within 24 hours as mentioned in the bylaws.
* Provide input for program planning * Attend supervision, provider meetings, and in-service trainings * Follow Northern Maine Medical Center's mission statement and core values * Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the organization Requires a master's degree in social work Must hold a valid Maine License.
Minimum of a LMSW-CC.
