Search Number PJ # 7150 Title Adjunct Faculty, Education (all programs) Category Part-Time Faculty Department Education Department About The Position: The Education Department is committed to excellence in teaching, teacher preparation, and educational leadership preparation.

Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching coursework dedicated to preparing undergraduate and graduate students in one or more of our Education programs, including childhood education, adolescence education, special education, and educational leadership.

The delivery of course content and assessments based on approved course outlines and program requirements is also included.

Course content might include a variety of topics such as Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Practices for Students with Disabilities, Assessment, Foundations of Special Education, and Instructional Leadership across Birth through 12th grade.

The School of Education, Health, and Human Services prepares students for successful entry into their profession.

We focus on an ethical approach to human well-being and encourage critical thinking and practical application.

Required Qualifications: * Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, Childhood Education, Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field * Professional Teaching Certificate * Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff, and administrators * Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: * Experience teaching at the college or university level * Experience with online instruction Salary (Applicant View) About Our University SUNY Plattsburgh, home of the Cardinals, is part of the largest comprehensive university system in the United States.
