Responsibilities: * Assist with classroom instruction and management in the absence of a regular Teacher * Ensure regular classroom routines are followed * Follows and teaches lesson plans * Aides students in understanding subject matter Requirements: * Certified: * Valid NJ CE, CEAS or Standard Teacher Certification; or * Valid NJ Substitute Certification * Non-Certified: * Minimum of 60 college credits needed to obtain substitute certification in NJ * Additional information on obtaining a substitute certification can be found on the NJ Department of Education's Website * Visit NJEDCert to apply for certification * Valid NJ criminal history letter * Negative tuberculosis test obtained within six months of initial employment Candidates are to submit a resume, references, and certifications and apply online via Applicant Tracking by 6/30/2025.
