Adjunct Faculty - Welding

College: DCC Department: Academic Affairs Sub department: Technical Type of Appointment: Unclassified - Adjunct Duties and Responsibilities: Within the scope of their duties, Adjunct Faculty are expected to: * prepare and provide course or laboratory lectures; * hold office hours in the amount of (30) minutes per lecture/lab course on-campus/site at times convenient for students; * prepare and grade examinations; * maintain class records and report grades; * participate in formative class evaluations and an end-of-the-semester/session evaluation session; and * complete all required/mandated employee training/professional development, as applicable.

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalency Required Experience: Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a welder Required Licenses or Certifications: N/A Preferred Education: Certificate of Technical Studies or higher from an accredited college or university Preferred Experience: American Welding Society (AWS) certifications Teaching experience Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
