English Language Learners (ELL) Teacher

Duties Work directly with students providing ELL services and support.

Provide systematic instruction by teaching lessons in English and Spanish as appropriate to meet student needs.

Collaborate with grade level teachers to plan, accommodate, implement, and assess lessons and progress.

Qualifications Illinois Professional Educator License with Bilingual Endorsement (preferred) and/or Educator License with Stipulations (Bilingual) or ESL Endorsement.

Fluency in English and Spanish, an understanding of cultural and linguistic diversity, and familiarity with Bilingual and ESL curriculum.
