Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join its interdisciplinary clinic in Oklahoma City, OK. Come join our team as we provide a comprehensive and collaborative approach in helping children with autism and other disabilities. Our clinic includes psychology, ABA, OT, and Speech services. At Peak, we strive to help children and families reach their highest potential.

The Position:

Perform all planned and approved procedures under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist (MOTR/L)

Perform small group and individual therapy based on client needs

Provide family education and training to assist in transfer of skills

Work in an outpatient, private-practice setting within clinic, home and community environments

Maintain client records and treatment notes

Maintain confidentiality of patient records in according with HIPAA and State and Federal Regulations

*This position will start part-time with the hope to transition into full-time hours.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant

OK State Licensure as a COTA

Experience with pediatric populations is preferred

Excellent communication skills with other providers and families

Experience/training in feeding therapy is beneficial, especially with SOS and TalkTools protocols

Must have great problem-solving skills

Available full-time - 40 hours/week

Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Proficient in using technology (Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Office and familiar with EMR systems)

Passionate about helping children and their families
