The Respiratory Therapist will perform independent professional respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in an appropriate, safe and cost-effective manner.
Support medical staff and other hospital staff in providing quality patient care.
Work Schedule: 24 hrs weekly / .6 FTE.
12-hour night shifts, every 3rd weekend obligation Required Qualifications: * Graduate of a Respiratory Care program * Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) * Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of MN * Current BLS - American Heart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider) * ACLS certification required within 6 months of start date.
* If working inpatient, NRP certification is required within 6 months of start date.
* Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner license with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (specific only to employees working in Wisconsin) * Minimum of one-year acute care experience Preferred Qualifications: * NICU experience At HealthPartners we believe in the power of good - good deeds and good people working together.
