Posting Number 20162843F Job Description The Ohio University School of Nursing Zanesville Campus seeks adjunct clinical focus faculty candidates with an emphasis on teaching clinical competencies with Associate and Bachelor Degree Nursing students.
These positions are term positions and will be filled as needs arise for the Zanesville campus.
Faculty are expected to plan, implement, and evaluate instruction for student clinical and simulation lab experiences.
These individuals will provide instruction, supervision, guidance and counsel to nursing students in relation to ADN and BSN program objectives and includes (1) planning student learning experiences; (2) evaluating student progress; (3) recording and reporting as required by the School of Nursing.
Clinical sites include the following in the state of Ohio: Genesis Hospital (Zanesville, Ohio) (most highly used) Muskingum Valley Health Center (Zanesville, Ohio) Ohio Health Southeastern Medical Center ( Cambridge, Ohio) Licking Hospital (Newark, Ohio) Fairfield Medical (Lancaster, Ohio) Nationwide Children's (Columbus, Ohio) Community Health sites (Zanesville, Ohio) Other: various other facilities may be used for precepted students Seeking experience in: Medical Surgical Nursing Behavioral Health Pediatrics Obstetrics Community nursing The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing.

Minimum Qualifications A nursing degree of BSN or higher is required by the start date of appointment.
Minimum of two years (24 months full time equivalent) of clinical nursing experience in the United States is required.
A current unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or the eligibility to obtain an unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
Preferred Qualifications MSN degree preferred.
Department ZNSVL Nursing Pay Rate Compensation is an hourly rate commensurate on highest achieved nursing degree.
