Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled independently licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team and help transform access to care for women and those she loves across the lifespan.
Supported and empowered by the Outpatient Clinical Team Lead, the Mental Health Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality care to clients in alignment with Mamaya Health's mission and values. You will work within established policies and procedures, embrace supportive accountability, and uphold the organization's commitment to providing life-giving mental healthcare while contributing to a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

Job Duties + Functions
Provide individual, couples, and/or family outpatient therapy on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis, maintaining a caseload that supports a minimum of 12 completed client sessions per week (minimum availability: 15 hours per week).
Collaborate with Team Lead and other departments as needed to ensure best practices and compliance.
Manage and maintain an individual book of business, monitoring caseload health and proactively addressing key performance indicators (completed sessions, cancellations, length of stay, and client engagement).
Utilize measurement-based care by incorporating assessments into every session and tracking mental health outcomes.
Complete timely documentation within Mamaya Health's established timeframes, including intakes, diagnoses, treatment plans, ongoing progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Coordinate care with other providers (e.g., medication prescriber, PCP, OB-GYN, dietitian, other therapists) and family members as appropriate.
Communicate promptly with Mamaya Health staff, responding to email/chat within 2 business days or sooner when urgent.
Actively participate in monthly team meetings, quarterly all-staff meetings, monthly 1:1 meetings with Team Lead, and supervisory meetings with Team Lead or Senior Clinical Leadership as needed.
Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related mental health field.
Independently licensed to practice counseling/mental health therapy (LCSW, LPC-MHSP) in the state of TN
Direct clinical experience for 1 year is preferred. Ideal settings would include outpatient, intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization, or residential treatment settings.
Experience working with women's and maternal mental health topics preferred
Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to inclusivity and cultural humility.
