We are looking for Classroom Support for the 2025 program year!
This position is a temporary placement until you have completed 480 hours and will help serve in multiple locations in the Rochester area!
These positions are responsible for supporting a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children in the Head Start program, including, but not limited to, supervising children, facilitating daily and weekly activities, providing guidance to children in social interactions and working in a professional manner with center staff, parents, children and, when applicable, outside community members.
Qualifications: Our classroom support position requires a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Candidates enrolled in a Child Development Accreditation (CDA) credential is necessary.
Experience or training working in Early Childhood is preferred, but not required.
Bilingual applicants welcomed.
These non-exempt positions will be scheduled up to 20 hours/week, Monday-Thursday between the hours of 7:45am-3:45pm or 9am-2:00pm (your choice on hours). Compensation for these positions is $15.00/hour.
Head Start parents are encouraged to apply and will be given preference based on qualifications.
