Special Proc Xray Tech

Cabell Huntington Hospital seeks a full-time Special Procedures X-ray Tech to work in Interventional Radiology.

Under the direction of the IR Supervisor, the IR Technologist: * Is responsible for the day-to-day operation of all IR activities at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

* Ensures the quality of services rendered is acceptable.

* Confirms orders, documents, medical necessity, and pre-authorization on all IR orders.

* Assists with/performing variety of radiology diagnostic examinations to include fluoroscopy, interventional procedures under image guidance, facilitating inpatient and outpatient consultation and post procedural follow-up.

* Provides radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.

* Operates IR and CT equipment to perform clinical diagnostic procedures as directed.

ARRT and WVSRT certifications required.
