JOB SUMMARY
Advanced Nurse Practitioners will practice independently and in collaboration with Hospice Care physicians and IDT members. While providing quality patient care, will establish and maintain appropriate patient/provider relationships with a wide variety of inpatient and community residents.

Masters of Nursing
Minimum Work Experience

Required Licenses/Certifications
Accredited Advanced Nurse Practitioner Certification
Current Texas Driver's License
CPR
Specialty Certification Obtainment in first 3 years of employment
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position
Understand the physical, psychosocial and spiritual concerns/problems of terminally ill patients and families
Accountable to Medical Director for clinical/medical oversight and professional services
Demonstrated interpersonal skills
Effectively directs personnel as appropriate
Strong computer skills
Research information
Requires ability to handle confidential information
