As a Windstar Intern, you will have the prospect of engaging with Windstar team members and will have the opportunity to work in all areas of marine operations including marine, safety, environment, security and public health although the focus will be on port operations.
The intern will have an opportunity to learn about all areas of marine operations while working directly with the port operations teams.
Focus will be updating port information, supporting review of Windstar port operations with the goal of realizing cost savings.
Port operations will be updating their port booking and budgeting process to MXP, MarineXchange which offers an enterprise software platform for the cruise industry.
MXP365 provides a complete portfolio of mature and powerful tools to better manage all aspects of cruise-ship operations at the office and onboard ships.
The intern will be supporting the transfer of data into MXP.
It is an excellent opportunity to learn about many aspects of cruise ship operations within the marine team.
This internship will be based in Windstar Cruises' Corporate Offices in Doral, FL Responsibilities * Learning about all aspects of marine operations, including port, marine, safety, environment, security and public health.
* Opportunity to engage with port agents in many parts of the world.
* Assist with improving port operations processes.
* Participate in data input into MXP.
* Engage in review of results for Request for Proposal (PFP) for Windstar Port Agents.
