Night Shift Maintenance Technician

Location: Crossville, TN

Schedule: Night Shift Full-Time

Pay: $25/hour (depending on experience)

Job Summary

A local vinegar manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their night shift team.

The Night Shift Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and installation of plant equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This includes troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while supporting production needs and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on plant equipment and systems.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.

Fabricate simple machine parts as required and requisition repair parts when needed.

Maintain plant water treatment system and equipment: take samples as scheduled and make adjustments as needed.

Lay out circuits and install electrical wiring systems to handle required loads for various plant areas.

Run lines, make connections, install proper safety devices, and provide for necessary outlets and switches.

Install and hook up production equipment, ensuring correct motor sizing, voltage requirements, and balanced circuits for proper power distribution.

Support production staff by responding quickly to issues and working collaboratively with team members.

Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and company standards.Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting.

Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Skilled in electrical wiring, fabrication, and equipment installation.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.Benefits
