The Caseworker will be responsible for conducting intake assessments, initiating investigations, and assessing the safety of children in residential settings.
Additionally, the Caseworker will collaborate and communicate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the well-being of children under our care.
* Investigate allegations in areas such as abuse, neglect, dependency, etc.
* Interview children, families, witnesses, and other sources to help assist risk.
* Counsel families and refer them to crisis services.
* Provide strong documentation of findings.
* Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in social work or related area (LSW considered equivalent). * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
* Experience in social work and case management.
* Proficient in casework and assessment techniques.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong organizational and time management skills * Experience in child welfare or related field is a plus.
* Knowledge of child protection laws and regulations.
