* Handles financial transactions including exchanging cash for slot tickets, performing credit checks, and cashing checks.
* Processes checks.
* Computes, classifies, records, and verifies cash and coin according to specific policies and procedures and guest service standards.
* Provides even exchange of cash and exchanges of receipts for cash.
Processes jackpots.
Provides change and breaks down bills.
* Balances funds and assets at end of work shift.
* Responsible for sports wagering ticket redemption at a dedicated cage window.
* Ability to work as a Sportsbook Writer before or after a scheduled shift in addition to days off.
* Responds to guest questions and concerns.
* Complies with all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.
* Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: * Must be 18 years of age or older.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* One or more years cashier or related experience preferred.
* Must be available to work flexible shift, weekends and holidays.
* Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
Physical and Mental Demands: * Regularly required to see, talk or hear; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
* Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
* Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions
