POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Behavioral Health Services is responsible for the overall administration of Behavioral Health Programs including Behavioral Health Residential, Outpatient Therapy, Mentoring, Runaway Homeless Youth (RHY), Intake/Assessment, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and Prevention at Pioneer Center.
The Director ensures staff and client needs are met through a trauma-informed approach.
This role is responsible for compliance with program standards and regulations; writing, monitoring, and reporting for grant; networking with community partners; creation and adherence to budgets; training staff and monitoring model fidelity; communication and collaboration with all levels of leadership and administration; and management of service provision, including in 24/7 programming As a part of the Behavioral Health pillar, the Director of Behavioral Health Services will adhere to the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Pioneer Center and philosophy of the Behavioral Health pillar.

Essential Functions Statement(s) * Provides oversight to service delivery within Behavioral Health by scheduling and chairing meetings, providing individual supervision to members of the management team and group supervision to direct services staff as needed.
Participates in individual program meetings as necessary.
* Guides implementation and compliance to Trauma Informed Care across organization.
* Prepares written appraisal of job performance in a timely fashion.
* Issues corrective counseling and disciplinary action as necessary.
* Ensure that all applicable licensure and accreditation are maintained.
* Works with the Leadership team and Finance Department in developing the Behavioral Health budget.
* Monitors spending for compliance with established budget; approves all expenditures within Behavioral Health programs.
* In conjunction with the Management team, reviews weekly/month billing, productivity, billing by program reports to ensure goals and expectations are met and necessary action is taken to address any issues.
* In conjunction with the Management team, establishes and manages Case Manager, Therapist, and Mentor client Caseloads and Productivity levels.
Take appropriate action to ensure these are met and exceeded to meet the needs of the community.
* In conjunction with Management team, develops/updates Policy, Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and Training Manuals.
Ensures all staff are formally trained on these to ensure clear understanding and adherence to guidelines, forms, regulatory clinical and other requirements, process and procedures.
* Responsible for formally training all staff on the EHR system on all aspects of functionality, form and documentation.
* Updates the Strategic Plan and monitors progress of established goals and objectives at least on a quarterly basis.
* Prepares and submits all necessary Monthly Division/Program Outcome, Key Metrics, Stats, Waitlist, and other reports to the CEO in a timely manner.
* Ensures staffing patterns and ratios are adequate to meet program needs.
* Addresses all client complaints in an appropriate and timely manner, according to established agency policy.
* Informs CEO of conditions that may prove detrimental to clients' safety, health or well-being.
* Keeps the CEO informed of all situations that may have an adverse effect on agency functioning or public image.
* Attends all meetings as assigned by the CEO.
* Develops, solicits and analyzes program and client outcomes to ensure appropriate, timely and quality services.
* Assists in grant application process for the development and/or expansion of program services.
* Keeping abreast of the latest treatment trends and issues in the Mental Health field, ensuring the agency offers appropriate client services.
* Informs the CEO of trends and issues that may affect agency services.
* Establishes and maintains working relationships with staff and program managers.
* Establishes and maintains working relationships with other organizations (other Providers, Funders, Referral Sources, etc.) to achieve program objectives.
* Performs duties according to the confidentiality and HIPAA acts by respecting the privacy and confidentiality of individuals served.
* Communicates respectfully and effectively with individuals including clients, parents, and staff.
* Performs duties according to Pioneer Center's Code of Ethics.
* Ensures the timely completion of required service documentation for all regulatory bodies.
* Follows HR policies and completes HR paperwork.
Contacts HR with questions concerning either.
Partner with HR/Chief HR Officer in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of staff.
* Accepts all other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the CEO, facilitating delivery of services and maintaining consistency and quality of care.
* Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: Master's Degree Required, Field of Study: Human Services Experience: 5 plus years of experience in leadership role with progressively increased responsibility Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams Certifications & Licenses: LCPC or LCSW required.
