Starting Pay:

Summary

This position is responsible for doing everything necessary to maintain Louisiana Eye and Laser Center's growth, patient and physician satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

Handling a high volume of calls on a daily basis and take appropriate action for each call.

Maintain and elevate customer satisfaction

Ability to learn our information system quickly

Able to speak with patients and how to educate them over the phone

Meet customer service targets and goals

Scheduling patients

Monitoring provider schedules

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong computer skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Must be able to work some weekends

Strong problem-solving abilities

High degree of initiative

Ability to multitask

Effective time management

Patient-centered

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Experience working in a professional Call Center that is fast paced with heavy call volume (Preferred)

Experience working in the ophthalmology/medical field (Preferred)

Medical terminology knowledge (Preferred)

Physical demands

Requires sitting for an extended period of time.
