Responsibilities * Oversee daily operations related to academic assessments and administrative functions.
* Manage assessment software (ExamSoft and others), including student enrollment, question import, exam creation and posting, troubleshooting, and training for faculty and students.
* Collaborate with faculty and academic coordinators to prepare, edit, and post assessment materials in a timely manner.
* Compile results from all types of assessments (e.g., essays, quizzes, short-answer responses) and generate reports for faculty, academic coordinators, or associate deans.
* Support students by providing guidance on assessments, monitoring submissions, coordinating make-up or retest sessions, and scheduling post-assessment review appointments as needed.
* Prepare classroom environments for in-person assessments and ensure all assessment procedures are followed accurately.
* Maintain regular correspondence with the Office for Students and Disability Services regarding upcoming assessments and student accommodations, ensuring compliance with all policies.
* Maintain relationships with software vendors and coordinate with IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Ensure confidentiality of assessment materials and student records.
Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, plus two years of computer or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Strong proficiency with software solutions and computer-based operations, including assessment software, spreadsheets, word processing, databases, ExamSoft, Blackboard, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Accurate typing skills with solid knowledge of English grammar and punctuation.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
