Cat Scan (CT) Technician This position includes a $20,000 Sign-on Bonus for a twenty-four-month full-time commitment.

Los Alamos Medical Center is also offering a housing allowance of $1,000, grossed up, for twelve months for a new hire who relocates.

Schedule: this is a full-time, night shift role that offers some schedule flexibility and will work either 5x8s or 4x10s.

This role could work Monday through Thursday from 11 pm to 9 am or Monday through Friday from 12 am to 8 am or 11 pm to 7 am.

How you'll contribute A Cat Scan (CT) Technician who excels in this role: * Reviews patient history and physician's orders.

* Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.

* When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.

* Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.

* Prepares equipment and supplies.

* Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.

* Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

* Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). * Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.

* Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.

* Enters, transmits and reports scan results.

What we're looking for Applicants should have a current NM Radiologic Technologist license and possess an associate degree in a related field.

Additional requirements include: * Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) current upon hire.
