Position Details Position Information Position Title Assistant Professor of Pathology; OPCVM Department CVM Academic Affairs Position Category Faculty Job Description The Assistant/Associate Professor of Pathology is a full-time faculty position responsible for teaching, research, and service in the field of veterinary medicine with a particular focus on pathology.

Faculty in this role are expected to foster student learning, participate in research or scholarly activity, and engage in service to the profession and community.

The position carries primary responsibility for teaching veterinary pathology in pre-clinical and clinical courses, contributing directly to the mission of the University and the College of Veterinary Medicine Required Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree.

Eligibility for licensure in the state of Florida.

Residency training, advanced degree, and/or specialty board certification in veterinary pathology Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching experience in an academic setting.

Veterinary clinical or diagnostic experience.
