Responsibilities: * Accountable for all areas of the plant to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
* Coordinate work in various departments and facilitates improvement initiatives.
* Manage employee performance, identify training opportunities, and develop talent to align with future business requirements.
* Deliver on production and delivery targets.
* Monitor cost of production to identify opportunities to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
* Ensure inventory is properly accounted for and accurate.
* Control inventory levels of finished and raw materials to the optimum levels required to meet customer delivery expectations.
* Create a safety culture that results in constant improvement in safety metrics.
* Ensure that all equipment is being properly used and maintained.
Qualifications: * Completed post-secondary education with a preference given to an engineering discipline.
* 5+ years of successful plant management or supervisory experience.
* People leader with excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
* Change agent with ability to implement process improvement and evaluate alternate solutions.
* Excellent understanding of budgetary development and financial management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to leverage technology for project management, analysis and solving problems (including Microsoft Office Suite).
