Responsibilities: * Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children * Create a safe and nurturing learning environment * Supervise children during activities and ensure their safety * Conduct systematic observations and evaluations of each child's progress * Cultivate positive relationships with children and parents * Maintain program site and equipment * Attend and participate in family nights, program activities, and staff meetings * Adhere to state guidelines and childcare regulations Qualifications: * CDA, Associates, or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred * Experience working in a licensed childcare center (1-2 years preferred) * CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire * Strong knowledge of child development principles and educational practices * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively with diverse populations * Dependability, adaptability, and teamwork skills Physical Requirements: * Ability to plan, lead, and participate in activities * Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
