Monitor brewing facilities and equipment usage for beverage production classes and labs.
Strive to promote the safety, health and comfort of students, employees and guests of the college.
Assume the initiative for carrying out the mission and vision of A-B Tech and the goals of the Hospitality Education Division.
Duties 1.
Provide instruction for Brewing, Distillation and Fermentation production related curriculum courses.
2.
Monitors proper usage of brewing facility and equipment.
3.
Collaborates with departmental personnel on curriculum updates.
4.
Maintains student records as defined by the North Carolina Community College System including grades, attendance and performance measures.
Minimum Requirements 1.
Associate in Brewing, Business, STEM, or a Doctor of Jurisprudence; 2.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and current working knowledge of industry related software.
Preferred Qualifications 1.
Bachelor degree or higher in Brewing, Business, STEM or Doctor of Jurisprudence; 2.
One to three years' industry or business applied experience in the craft beverage industry; 3.Previous teaching experience in an academic environment with diverse student and faculty population; 4.Industry recognized certifications.
