We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team for a 6-month contract position located in Chicago - Richardson. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in test automation and a passion for innovation in software quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using programming languages such as Python and Java.

Integrate testing frameworks and perform robust API/UI testing, including cloud-based application testing in GCP.

Design and implement API/UI testing automation using tools like Playwright and Karate.

Create and manage Kafka Automation Frameworks.

Apply fundamental automation framework design principles, ensuring modularity, reusability, and scalability.

Select appropriate testing frameworks and tools to optimize test execution performance.

Manage test data, including preparation, validation, and integrity checks, to extract meaningful insights.

Utilize advanced automation techniques such as behavior-driven development (BDD), model-based testing, and AI-driven test automation.

Design and implement innovative automation solutions leveraging machine learning and AI.

Translate testing and quality assurance challenges into effective automation tasks.

Communicate the impact of automated testing on software quality and delivery timelines.

Tackle complex testing scenarios and enhance test scripts for improved performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in test automation.

Experience in advanced automation methodologies and industry experience in automation projects.

Strong problem-solving skills in automation and a proactive approach to challenges.
