Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Shift: Day

Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience: Minimum of 1 year

License: Current Radiologic Technology License

Certifications: ARRT National License, BLS

Must-Have: ACLS preferred and highly encouraged

Description:

Operates all Cath lab equipment and digital processing equipment.

Performs all Cath lab duties such as scrub assistant and X-ray equipment operation.

Contributes to the general operation of the department by picking up and stocking supplies.

Keeps the work area orderly.

Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles.

Assists in the care of the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Specialization can be obtained in various modalities with training and participation.

These modalities include Diagnostic Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Angiography, Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, and Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator Implantation.

Assures the quality and acquisition of digital images.

Positions Cath Lab table and sets angles.

Weekend and on-call requirements exist, as selected in collaboration with other staff.

Temp-to-perm opportunities may be available.
