Job ID: 1269 Position: Part-Time Special Education Instructional Assistant Location: Van Derveer Elementary School Available: ASAP Qualifications: * High School diploma; 60 college-level credits in education or related field.

* Minimum experience of 3 years or equivalent.

* Demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities and to communicate effectively with students and school staff.

* Knowledge of diverse needs of children with disabilities and appropriate special education classroom practices.

* Required criminal history check and proof of U.S.

citizenship or resident alien status.

Salary: Placement on the salary guide is as per the Instructional Assistant's Salary Guide for July 1, 2025- June 30, 2026 within the SEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Benefits: Part time positions do not qualify for benefits.
