Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $40.00 to $43.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including balance sheets and cash flow reports
Generate rental invoices and billings, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution
Reconcile general ledger accounts and intercompany transactions, including bank and tenant activity
Oversee financial tracking for construction and development projects, ensuring proper cost allocation
Collaborate with project managers and vendors to maintain budget compliance and accurate reporting Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in general accounting or a related financial role
A strong understanding of accounting and finance principles, including reporting standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks
Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and meet deadlines consistently
Experience reviewing and processing vendor and subcontractor invoices for accuracy Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field
Familiarity with real estate tax tracking and property insurance payments
Knowledge of internal control procedures and ability to support tax preparation activities
High level of discretion when handling confidential financial information
Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to team collaboration and continuous improvement
