Coordinator The Girl PowHER & C.L.U.B.
Coordinator will design, plan, and implement afterschool programming for two core YouthPower365 programs: * Girl PowHER (Grades 6-8): Provides adventure, career exploration, mentorship, and empowerment opportunities, helping girls build confidence, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging.
* The C.L.U.B.
(Community Lifting Up Boys) (Grades 6-8): Provides adventure, career exploration, mentorship, and empowerment opportunities, helping boys develop leadership skills, positive connections, and a strong sense of community.
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for planning and facilitating engaging activities, mentoring students, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
LEARN MORE ABOUT YOUTHPOWER36 Specific Responsibilities Qualifications & Experience Benefits & Compensation Duties will include, but not limited to: * Develop and lead activities that incorporate adventure, career exploration, social-emotional learning, and personal growth.
* Prepare and utilize all necessary supplies and equipment.
* Foster strong relationships with students, families, schools, and community partners.
* Track expenses and submit documentation as required.
* Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
* Attendance and assistance in work and school related events.
* Maintain a safe and respectful environment in all program sites.
* Report program operations to upper management.
* Must be able and willing to drive a 15-passenger van.
A successful candidate should possess: * Highly organized.
* Employment is contingent on the candidate passing a background check and a MRV check.
Must complete required training for working with children.
* Experience with youth and/or nonprofits.
* Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
* Familiarity with positive youth development principles.
* Evidence of working successfully in a fast paced, project-based environment.
* Capable of remaining focused and calm under stressful situations.
* Proven ability to make critical decisions independently and with little supervision.
* Team approach and willingness to assist others when called upon.
* A strengths-based approach to youth and families.
Additional Preferred Skills: * Experience with middle school aged children and/or a background in education.
* Conversational in Spanish and English (preferred). Professional Development Opportunities: * Development of program design and implementation skills.

Benefits & Compensation: * $25.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience.
* 20-25 hours per week.
* Accrue sick time leave at a rate of one (1) hour for every thirty (30) hours worked.
