Instructional Aide II SPED - RISE

Help special education teacher provide for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in special education setting.

Assist in implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs.

Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher.

Qualification: Education/Certification: * Associates degree or at least 48 hours of college coursework completed (an unofficial college transcript will be required prior to hiring) * Valid Texas educational aide certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: * Ability to work with children with disabilities * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions * Ability to communicate effectively * Knowledge of general office equipment * Bilingual preferred Experience: * Some experience working with children Starting Salary Range: $24,041 - $29,112 Work Calendar: 187 Days Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience.
