What You'll Do:
Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Director of IT, you will:
Serve as the principal deputy to the IT Director, providing both strategic and operational leadership.
Oversee day-to-day operations across core IT functions: Help Desk, Network Operations, Virtual Infrastructure, Server Administration, Applications, and GIS.
Lead planning, budgeting, and execution of IT projects that align with organizational priorities.
Collaborate with County departments to assess needs and deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity compliance standards.
Manage and mentor IT staff, fostering growth, accountability, and service excellence.
Build and maintain strategic vendor and technology partner relationships.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of progressive IT management experience.
Must possess a valid Driver's License and have held it for at least 2 years.
Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, ERP, CRM, virtual infrastructure, networking, cloud-based platforms, help desk operations, and GIS.
Proven success in policy development, budgeting, and IT projects leadership.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
