Position Description The Dentist is responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries in a General Dental Practice model for both mobile and fixed-facility settings; provides comprehensive, general practice dental services for individuals and families on a continuing basis, and may, at certain locations, provide referrals for a continuum of care into a specialty care setting; responsible for dental assistant (DA) clinical supervision and continuing verification of the DAs clinical skills competency.
Additionally, at certain sites, the dentist is responsible for dispensing pharmaceuticals from the clinic dispensary, and serving as lab director tests performed in the clinic.
Desired Education or Certifications Criteria: Graduate of an accredited dental school and passing scores on the National Dental Boards.
Must be licensed in the State of Nevada.
