Position Type: Athletics/Activities/Coaching Date Posted: 6/11/2025 Location: Waterford Athletic Department District: Waterford School District Additional Information: Show/Hide Position: Assistant Varsity & JV Sideline Cheer Coaches Location: Mott High School Minimum Qualifications: * CPR/AED Certification required * First Aid Certification preferred * CAP Certification Preferred * Substantial knowledge of the fundamental and technical aspects of Cheerleading * Ability to effectively assist the varsity coach in building a Sideline Cheer program * Must abide by the Waterford School District Coaches Handbook and overall District athletic philosophy Essential Functions: * Plan, organize and facilitate practices * Assist with oversight and management of performances * Assist cheerleaders in fundamental skills * Communicate effectively with all stakeholders * Work effectively with the entire coaching staff and athletic department * Teach, maintain and enforce character and academic expectations within the program Reports To: Varsity Sideline Cheer Coach & Building Assistant Athletic Director Workday/Week: Varies Starting Date: TBD Compensation: Determined by Teacher Master Agreement and years of experience Posting Date: June 11, 2025 Posting Deadline: Until filled Internal and external candidates may apply by visiting and selecting the icon "Employment" and next, "Job Postings Directory".
