CGP: CPA Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $75.00 to $85.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the accounting function with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting

Oversee month-end close, audit preparation, and financial statement consolidation

Manage and mentor accounting staff to ensure high performance and professional growth

Collaborate with leadership to support strategic planning and financial decision-making

Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and internal controls across all accounting operations Requirements:

15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles

Demonstrate a strong public accounting background, with experience at the Manager level or higher

Maintain an active CPA license in good standing

Apply deep knowledge of accounting principles, audit processes, and financial reporting

Exhibit strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment Qualifications:

Hold a CPA certification as a core requirement for the role

Bring extensive experience in public accounting, preferably from a mid-tier or Big Four firm

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership

Display advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Excel-based financial analysis

Adapt to evolving business needs with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
