SAS Analyst
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills SAS Programming, Python Programming, Unix Shell Scripting
Roles & Responsibilities Required Skills:
• 8+ years of experience in writing SAS codes, Base SAS programming, macro programming (SAS/BASE, SAS/MACRO, SAS/SQL) and connectivity to external data sources
• Experience in designing, developing and maintaining SAS applications in Linux environment
• Experience in extracting, loading, cleansing & manipulating data in a SAS environment
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting SAS errors from SAS logs in Linux environment
• Proficiency to build, test and validate SAS Macros to aggregate data from SAS datasets for analysis
• Ability to analyze complex SAS codes and implement enhancements based on the business requirements
• Experience writing scalable code using python programming
• Design and develop data Ingestion processes using python programming
• Strong expertise in writing Unix Shell Scripts and troubleshooting errors in Linux environment
• Knowledge in data warehousing and ETL processes
• Knowledge in CICD processes and automation using Autosys scheduler
• Knowledge of agile (scrum) development methodology is a plus
• Strong development/automation skills
• Can-do attitude on solving complex business problems, good interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Possess great communication skills and must be able to directly work with business team to collect, analyze and put together appropriate requirements and solutions
Responsibilities:
• Write and debug SAS code to perform data manipulation, statistical analysis, and reporting tasks. This includes using SAS procedures (PROC's), macros, and other SAS tools to create custom solutions.
• Implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines to support complex data processing needs and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, Integration to audit tools
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to optimization efforts individually
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the SDLC
• Responsible for analyzing legacy SAS codes and processes to migrate them to new environment
• Analyze Current Model SAS code and convert SAS based pipelines to PySpark to execute on distributed ecosystems
Salary Range- $110,000-$130,000 a year
