Glenbrook High School District 225's Techology Services Department is seeking a Technology Technician.

The focus of the Technology Technician is to install, set up, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot technology resources within all buildings, based on direction from the Assistant Technology Services Manager and guidance from the Technology Operations Specialists, Implementation Specialist, and Network Manager. This position will generally acknowledge, document, and resolve hardware and software problems reported by staff members and assist with completing projects as outlined by the Assistant Technology Services Manager.

Education and/or Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor or Associate degree preferred.

Technology certifications and/or coursework as appropriate.

A+ Certification is preferred, or the ability to obtain it with organizational support and provided resources.

Knowledge of current desktop operating systems in use.

Operating system and application software troubleshooting experience.
